Branding and E-commerce Website
Noah Volz practices and teaches Ayurveda, he is also a yoga teacher and chiropractor. He wanted to refresh and reorder his large website and move it from Wix to WordPress. Part of the website are web-based E-learning courses and an E-commerce store. I completely revamped his information architecture and navigation, to make it easier to find information in this vast body of knowledge Noah had accumulated.
To refreshen his logo, which was hard to decipher on a small scale, I reused the inner part of the old logo, which is based on the number three – hinting to the three doshas of Ayurveda – and got creative with it, adding leaf shapes – Ayurvedic medicine is herb based. I also picked a better suited set of fonts and a limited color palette that combined turquoise (healing) with orange (zeal of life), and also hints to the Indian origins of Ayurveda.
